Purpose: Rules protecting vehicle data, APIs, platform security and lawful use.
Audience: All platform, API, enterprise and partner users
1. Authorized Use
Use Vahanse only for lawful business, vehicle-management, compliance, service, transaction or other purposes for which you have appropriate authority.
2. Prohibited Data Access
- Do not query vehicles merely to identify, track, profile, intimidate or harass individuals.
- Do not use enumeration, scraping, credential stuffing or automated guessing to access vehicle/person records outside your entitlement.
- Do not access another customer’s fleet, documents or account.
3. Credentials
Do not share passwords, API keys or tokens with unauthorized persons; publish secrets in code repositories; bypass MFA/access controls; or use credentials after authorization ends.
4. Fraud and Misrepresentation
Do not submit false documents, impersonate an owner/driver/company, create sham transactions, manipulate receipts, misuse payment methods or falsely claim Authority approval or affiliation.
5. Platform Security
Do not introduce malware, attempt denial-of-service, exploit vulnerabilities, probe systems beyond authorized testing, bypass rate limits, or interfere with logging/security controls.
6. Data Resale and Redistribution
Raw Vahanse/third-party data may not be sold, licensed, published or redistributed except as explicitly permitted in a signed agreement and consistent with source restrictions and law.
7. Marketing and Communications
Do not use Vahanse data to send unlawful spam, unsolicited telemarketing or deceptive advertising. Partner/customer outreach must comply with applicable consent and communications law.
8. Government/Authority Claims
Do not represent Vahanse or your business as a government department, official portal, court, police authority, RTO or officially endorsed entity unless such status is true and documented.
9. Enforcement
Vahanse may investigate suspected violations, preserve relevant logs, throttle/suspend access, require remediation and terminate access for material or repeated breach. Vahanse may report unlawful activity where required by law.
10. Reporting
Security vulnerabilities or suspected abuse should be reported through the designated security/support contact rather than exploited or publicly disclosed in a way that increases risk.
